Every summer audiences look forward to the debut of the Okoboji Summer Theatre. For well over 40 years, students and faculty from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, have been managing, producing and starring in the theatres productions. Nine shows run throughout the season, including Broadway hits, thought-provoking dramas, entertaining musicals and lively comedies. Summer isn’t the only season for fans of the theatre to enjoy great performances. The Lakes Area Community Theatre, composed of talented community members, entertains audiences throughout the year.
